I came across this article on the Atlantic Cities earlier today about Mayor Bloomberg. Since he has less than a year left in office there will be many articles about his policies and was he a good mayor. I’m not going to comment on the two right now because the man is still in office. Now, this article talks about one of Bloomberg’s major faults which is the fact that he is out of touch with the less affluent members of New York society, especially the poor. His policies have sought to attract businesses and high-wage earners, and not address the difficulty of low, working and middle class families trying to make it in the city.
