Yesterday, I finally got to see Zero Dark Thirty and it is one of the best films I’ve seen. I know that all the critics have been raving about it and I agree with them. I was speaking with my friends after the movie and we spoke about how we knew what was going to happen, but the film was able to be suspenseful from start to finish. It’s a straightforward story. Yes, the film depicts torture. It does not take a stand on the issue. It portrays torture as what it is. Just a horrible act.

On a aside, I really did enjoy all the cameos from these actors who normally don’t do drama, such as Chris Pratt from Parks and Recreation and John Barrowman from Doctor Who and Torchwood.

I highly recommend the film.
