Just looked at this collection of photos that Buzzfeed put together of Goldfield, Nevada. Mostly it’s pictures of abandoned and collapsing buildings. Apparently, it was a boomtown that peaked at 20,000 and today has a population of around 250. Looking over these photos reminded me of a Atlantic Cities article from a few months back titled “The Psychology of Ruin Porn” which talks about our  fascination with abandoned and decaying structures.
