Just read this article from the Atlantic and it raises some very good points about the move from film to digital. I’m a little bit of a film buff and I can tell the difference between film, digital, and DVD. Today, it is up to the director if he or she wants to shoot in film or digital, but the old films are really defined by what kind of stock was used. I’m not going to be a snob and say film is better. At the end of the day, it is the market that dictates what is going to happen in any industry
